Team.

Jim has released and sent me to test his new 315 218 mould. Ideal for the .303 Brit, 54R, Argie, 7.7 Jap.

It is a hybrid of the 313 215 but a shade stouter, heavier and a smidge longer. OAL length of the new bullet is 1.25 inch and the nose is 0.750.

Hope to shoot it in my No4 MkII .303 and my .303 Pygmy tomorrow weather permitting.

About time someone made a big bullet for those guns with generous bores. Keep us informed.

Shot the bullet today in my No4 MkII with the PH5C sight. 100m/110y range.

19gr H4227 (AR2205), CCI large primer, air cooled clip on WW, as cast at .316 with a 2 ply alum. Freechex gas check.

I can't explain the low shot. I think it was operator error as I remember letting that round go as the other four when on their own. The four rounds measure 1 inch exactly at the widest, center to center.

4 shots in an inch, 5th opens it up to just over 1.5 inches.
