ingot marked MB?

Bought some lead while I was at the salvage yard today including this ingot. It feels like soft lead but I don't have a tester and thought the "MB" might identify whatever it is. It's about as long as the milk crate.

Ingots like yours are typically plumber's lead which is pure Pb !
There are a bunch of similar ingots in this photo.

Good to hear! He had 30 lbs but this was the only one with a mark. He sold it for 25 cents a pound and gave me 75 cents a pound for a big box of 22 brass I took up there.

Buy a truck load of those ingots @ 25 cents/pound if they are available ! I would take a 1000 pounds in heartbeat at that price ! Makes great trading material even if you do not use it yourself ! :)
