I picked up a new lyman 311359 yesterday .115 gr pt gc 30 M1.I would guess this is for the m1 carbine.
first would the lee mould handles work???
and anyone used this bullet in 30-06.I was thinking of using it in my 308/ 30-06 and as a single shot in my 30-30.
the price was right so I scarfed it up :)

I used one several years ago in my .300 Savage for squirrel hunting and plinking. More recently in a .30 Russian Short, but can't remember using it in an '06. Actually, it is an old design for the .32-20 loaded single shot. My groups ran around 2"-2.5" at 100 yards. -JDL

txpete,

I don't know if you have a .30 Carbine, but if you do, this particular boolit works REAL well in that application.

I've been shooting this for years using 12 to 13 grains of H 4227 (mostly 13 gr) and Winchester primers in a mix of brass.

Almost like shooting .22 lr as far as cost goes. I guess I will have to try it in my 03 Mark I. It would be a good "starter" load for Grandkids in an '06.:)

they are 131.0 gr's with tl and gas check.they might be a good one for the 30-30 also as a single shot round.a good bunny buster :)
