can you size a lyman 458 330gr hollow point down to 452 in a rcbs sizer?

It might ruin or remove the lube grooves and depends on the boolit. Give it a try and see what happens. If the boolits are very hard it might give you trouble. Make sure the nose punch fits.
Watch you don't break the sizer.

I resized a saeco #017 to .452 but did it in two stages using a Lee .454 sizer first. Took some armstronging on the old RC though on that first pass.:-D

In order to preserve the lube grooves. Lube boolit in 458 sizer, size again in 454 (if you have one) and finally size to 452. Hydraulic pressure should keep the grooves intact.
