I am sizing some 38 boolits the top punch is putting a ring around the boolit . It not as noticable on water quenched boolits But I did not water quech these I felt no need . I dought it will effect accuracy that much at snub nose distances but it is unsightly . Any ways is there a way to correct this . The top punch is the correct one for the boolit .

Feather the inner edge, at the very end, with emery cloth. It could have a burr or be slightly off what your boolit mold is. This will give it a bit of leade with sacrificing the accuracy of the TP.

The ring does not hurt anything. The edge of the top punch needs to be rounded off to eliminate the ring. Get some fine emory paper, wrap a piece around a bullet, spin the top punch in a drill and press the emory paper/bullet into the top punch. This has worked for me.
