i have purchased a 6" 357 blued dan wesson revolver. i have no idea of what model it is.
it is polished blue, full length rib, no full under lug.

made in monson, mass
ser num 178xxx
large wood one pc target grip with dwa emblems.

so what is it ???

You should be able to figure it out here, if not sign up and post a picture there they are very helpful. I have three Dan Wessons and for the life of me I can never remember the model numbers, I had to wright them down:???:

Welcome to the world of Dan Wesson!

I have acquired two ....... both Monson guns ...... a .41 and a .22 lr ......... both blued ........ if you are used to Smiths ...... D&W's will throw you for a loop as to trigger control but with work they will grow on you.
