I found I needed to lubricate the screws that joined the blocks to the handles tonight, or the blocks would not mesh with each other correctly. I had earlier lubed the locator pins on the mold blocks and the sprue plate. I used a good bit of BullPlate, and the problem went away.

This happened with two .32 designs I was using tonight.

Were the screws binding on the mould handles? or was the mould itself binding on the handle?

Works for me, Bullplate on the sprute plate, the hing, the pins and screws, No Problem.
These molds are designed to be floppy on the handles, so the mold halves can line up.
