What would be a good alloy for the Lee TL358-158-SWC for my Marlin .357? Also, what would be a good alloy for a gas checked 358156? I have more pure lead than clip on WW alloy. I also have tin if I need to mix some of that in as well. I will be using the boolits on top of Lil'Gun.

Mix your clip-on WW's with pure lead, 50/50, then water drop them. You'll get 18-22 bhn and they will still expand some.

ditto what BABore said - works great for me with that boolit with 11 gr 2400. I do throw in some tin with it.

Yep, that works too. Just be real careful on the amount. I've found that if you approach or exceed the antimony level, you'll get some real crappy looking boolits. 1/2 to 1% is usually plenty. I typically use this alloy without and only add tin for the real PITA molds/boolits.
