Fellow at the Bellville Illinois gun show has hensley and gibs moulds for sale. All are 4 cavity with handles. 2 .38 wc's, 1 .45 185 and 1 .45 200 (63 or 68) asking price was $150. Also a star lubrisizer for $150 and a nearly new Lyman 450 with some dies for $100.

Also saw 4 of the Ideal combination tools (pre 310 with intergeral mould) for $95 each. One for .32 special, one for .44-40 and an unknown third one. All were nickel plated and the moulds looked in good shape.

FWIW NO pistol primers and rifle primers priced at $100 per brick. Thought about trying to trade a sleeve of large pistols for a K-38.

Thumbcocker,

Is the $150 for each H&G or for the set? If the set, it's a great price. It may still be an OK price if it's per mold.

The Star sizer is a great price if it's in good shape. They are selling for closer to $300.

You need to go back and get that Star!

150 for the H&G molds with handles is also something you should not have passed up if you had the cash.

I can't believe a brick of primers is worth a gun! We are indeed living in tough times!
Go back, take two bricks if you have them, and see what else the guy will through in on the deal!

Could be "interesting".

+1 for the Star. Half new price, and then some...

The price on the moulds was $150 per mould. The all looked in good shape. I was thinking about offering a sleeve (5000) of primers for a gun but will probably just hold tight. I already have multi cavity moulds in 38 wc and one h&g in .45 so I didn't need them. I just scarfed a 4 poundr of red dot and some other supplies including 500 once fired .38 specials for $15 from the guy with the moulds.

You beat me to the RED DOT! I had made a fast lap around the show since he had several of the 4 pound cans and you were leaving with it when I got back. (Wearing a gray STETSON hat) I was looking for a MARLIN 357 Cowboy and didn't see any.

I looked at the STAR...it had damage to the lube reservoir and two small radiator type clamps holding it together. Parts are available from MAGMA, but who knows what other problems this one could have.

Small pistol primers were available for $45 and $50 per thousand. I haven't seen any of them anywhere lately. The guy I got the WOLF LPs from last month at $20 wanted $36.

the clamps coulda just been on there to plug the hole so when it's full it don't shoot soft lube out the bleed off hole.
