any on of you have this rifle?
its comes in 450 marlin

If it was made with wood furniture, and they got rid of those hideous sights and put something a bit more from antiquity on that, I'd buy one.

Its just too modern to be chambered in .45 cal... ;(

I just noticed how close the sights are together, I'm not a fan of short sight radii on long guns.

yes you are right if you use only the sights....
but if you use the rifle with a scope the sights becomes secondary
but still good point raised.....

if I would choose wood I think I would go for laminated (not a cheap one )
and a rear african sight would be nice on a big bore rifle

I was thinking something exotic for the wood, that stretch out almost to the muzzle. And like you said, something more safari like. It would be nice as a English style custom. For some reason I've always been fond of the full length stock. There is just something about it. And in .450 Marlin, it would be right at home with one.

being afraid to scratch it......

the Canadian distributor has one in stock
and it's tempting me to buy it,
will think about it, already have a ruger #1 in 4570

That is some of the most perty wood this Oklahoma boy has seen for some time.

And coming from somebody who's home is in the woods that sayin' somethin.

it is a very nice rifle I like it very much if it dress with with that beatiful stock i will be afraid to take it to a moose hunt:-?
