Made a great deal Sunday morning.
Two pounds H414, un opened, two pounds H450 un opened, 7/8's of a pound 231, 1/2 pound HS6, two pounds 4831, 3/4 pound H335 and 2000 large rifle primers as well as 50 rounds 357 brass and 10 rounds 30-30 brass total $80.00!

Think I did good!

Anybody know anything about primers from an outfit called Sullivan Arms in Indiana? They imported these primers from Finland but no manufacturers name.

Good deal!! I have found a lot of stuff at garage sales! we don't have a very large population in this area, but you do find a deal every once and a while!!
I am very happy for you!

HeavyMetal, at the going primer prices, you got the powder for free. That's a good deal in my book.:drinks:...Ray

You didn't do good at all and I feel bad for you but....... tell ya what I'll do. I'll reimburse you your $80 and take that bad stuff off your hands for you! I never find stuff like that at garage sales.

Good for you Heavy Metal, but I can't help with the imported primers, Did you try to Google the company? My only suggestion.

I think I'll do a few yard sales my own self....[smilie=1:

Are you sure they aren't Berdan primers?

One box are these finnish primers the other is an old winchester box of 81/2 -120 in the old style yellow box. Neither looks like berdan to me.

I will have to google the company I think these are magnum rifle primers the are marked LMR.

Since I got the H450 I'm thinking some had a 300 win mag or bigger same as the 4831.

Don't know what I'll do with the stuff, probabely set up a trade or something locally for stuff I can use, hazmat fee's being what they are and all. Really wanted the H414 for my 22 250 and 309.

The rest was just "gravy" .

Vihtavuori manufactured primers, but they stopped production about 10 years ago.
Is there any number in box?
Vihtavuori large pistol was NO:48 and large rifle was NO:68.

Congrats on the score! Yard sales are great, and I don't mind going with the wife on Saturday mornings browsing through other peoples "junk" at all. Guns around here get kind-of silly as to price, but...Last year I was browsing through a bunch of cleaning rods and other stuff on a small table, (all nice stuff, about 8-9 tefflon coated rods, several holsters, cleaning kits, etc.) I ask the lady how much for a rod, she said, "$1.00".

I picked out two or three and a holster for my old S&W M&P 6" and before I could get to her chair to pay for them she said, "No-no!...Everything on that table for $1.00!...Take it all! I just need to get rid of it, my husband died and the kids don't want it."

I ended up spending $30.00 there and could hardly get it all in the car. I offered fair prices for all that I bought, but she stuck to what she wanted for stuff. Too bad she took all the guns to "pander mountain".

Good morning
Yard Sales are the BEST for my basic needs in Life. We plan our return to the NORTH for when the yard sales start to restock ourselves.

You're right missionary! Weed-eaters $2.00, lawn mowers free sometimes, (just need a few little adjustments most times), kitchenware well below any store could ever offer. I even ran into one last summer where it was fill a bag for $2.50 or a box for $3.50...What a bargain!:)

Two weeks ago I scored a like-new Pacific model 007 reloading press (identical to the current Hornady Lock-n-Load Classic) for $10! All it need was the primer dohickey, which I was able to get from Hornady. Sweet!
