For those who are using LP in place of LR, how are you seat them? Flush with the base of the case, or bottomed out?

Good morning
ALL primers must be "Bottomed" out. If you do not then the firing pin will "PUSH" the priner deeper and the loss of power from the hammer blow may cause a misfire. Some cases may have a primer pocket so tight that it grips the primer sufficient to be fired without being bottomed BUT sooner or latter you will have ignition problems.
So seat tthem to the bottom (Clean) and do not be concerned... unless your hammer/firing pin are so worn or not compatible with the extra reach needed to smack the primer hard enough to ignite.
IF you have not TESTED one combination yet in your fire arm do so before priming up a batch.
