I am new to shipping ammo. Have shipped components and guns before, Does loaded ammo ship different than guns? I am trying to clear out some estate stuff for a friend.

I sent .30 carbine reloads to my brother. I think I had to write ORM-D Small Arms Ammo on the box as per the UPS shipping lady. I don't recall ther being additional fees. Just labeling.

Marking the box ORM-D Small arms ammunition is all you need to do for United Parcel Service. There is no additional charge to ship ammunition. I used to be a class 6 FFL manufacture of ammunition.
