I have two lyman 358491 mold blocks but they both produce poor bullets, The edges of one cavity in one mold and two cavities in the other mold look as if somebody hit them with a grinder. I've only loaded for 38spl using a 92gr Round nose but yesterday I got a S&W 10 and want to load up some target loads/plinkers...whatever. I'm looking at the lee 6 cavity and wondering how their particular take on this design compares to the Lyman 35891. I like having the majority of the projectile in the case but if I can't find something that works I'll start using my 358432 mold...not sure on the weight on that one though. lyman book lists two weights so I'll hafta cast with that one as well and find out which one works the best.
Off topic but is the forward portion of the 358432 bore riding? Is there rhyme or reason why they designed this bullet as well as the 35891? Is one just for the S&W 52?
