Has anyone cast bullets from radiographic paper scrap? I was told it was pure lead. Does anyone know for sure? I have a ton of the stuff.

If radiographic paper scrap is the little x-ray shields that the dentists throw away, it's pure lead. I melted 7 lbs. a few weeks ago and I mashed a ball bearing with some pure lead and they were the same. I mix it 50/50 with wws when I make boolits. Later Don
If it's Kodak dental x-ray film backers, Kodak told me their's is 99% lead and 1% tin.

Yeah, it has some tin in it. I ran 2-3 pounds one time. I had boxes and boxes of the stuff. It cast good. Definitely not pure lead./beagle

The brand I have says hexalon. Anybody know anything about this brand? Can I cast it as is or should I mix with WW?
