Nope, but I shoot the 9.5x57 MS. That is a .375/06 shortened about 1/4". I have to fireform the cases to get enough of a shoulder to give good enough headspacing. I have the dies adjusted so that there is a crush fit in the gun after the 30-06 neck is opened up to .375".

I have been thinking about a .35 Whelen or a .41-'06.

Figure it would headspace on the case mouth like a long 45ACP - if I don't go for a minimum tapered, sharp shouldered Ackley type profile.

Anyone know where I can find case/chamber dimensions for such cartridges?

How 'bout a 375 Hawk. Found a 1895 Winchester (new production) that had been rebored to 375 hawk. I have been using the lyman 375449 with good results. Kind of like the 9.3X62 but in .375.

madcaster: My 375 '06 deriv. is a 375 Hawk-Scovill ( like Brian's) except mine is a rebarreled pre-64 M70.. My reading leads me to believe this is 375-06(or 93.x.62)Imp, with the shoulder moved forward a la Rocky Gibbs line-up.. It's a serious BigGame weapon with the 270 Barnes, eventually I will mine the copper in there,and commence imitatating Brian's doings!! Onceabull.. Oh yeah,over at CastPics, Buckshot put down some loads from his 375/06 Imp.Experience...
