I am using a Lee mold 90692 casting a .358 158 gr FN bullet and Lee doesn't list top punches like lyman and rcbs. Any help would be appreciated before I order the wrong one. Thanks Mac punch is for a 450 lyman.

encoreman, you don't need a specific top punch for a flat top boolit. I just use a 1/4 diameter bolt. Use one that has a shank that is long enough to hacksaw off the threaded portion. By using a flat punch the boolit will self center...Ray

Try this link http://www.castpics.net/ then in the left column use the top punch reference. looks like a Lyman 43 to me.

Can't be a #43; it's mainly for 40 caliber stuff. I'm getting this top punch for a Lee RNFP mold in 38/357:

This calls out for a Lyman #495 top punch, as pointed out in the castpics top punch reference guide for a Lyman 358665 mold, which looks pretty durn close to your Lee mold.

Hope this helps,

Kevin

Thanks guys, I thought the 495 would work, but I would rather ask than have 1 I don't need. Heck that $8.00 might put me in the black this year. LOL Have a blessed day, Mac
