Pure lead

Anyone out there have some pure lead they can spare? All I have is WW and I need to slug some barrels.

Wheel weight will slug all right.
Just take a piece, and drive it in the barrel.
I did mine that way.

Take a few .22's apart or pick up some at the range, not sure just how pure thay are but they are softer than w/w.

Egg shaped fishing sinkers work well also...Just slugged two barrels the other day with them.

Depends on what you're going to slug. I took apart a 12-gauge 00 Buck shell to get at the 9 .32 cal. lead balls. Perfect for slugging any .30 caliber barrel. Smaller barrel, smaller shot. I only needed it once, so I saved the other 8 at my loading bench.

If you have tape on wts, they are almost 99% pure lead. Melt those down for slugging.
