Can someone tell me what the "DW" designation suffix is used for on Lyman molds? I have double cavity 225415DW and a 225438DW molds. Does it mean double cavity?

Has to do with naming the maker of the cherry that made the mold. IIRC

The older Ly man molds used a letter to indicate a particular cherry used for that mold. I don't know if they are up to double letters now or if that means something else.

In the old days Lyman had their own tool and die men to make their cherries. Some genius figured out they could save a lot of money by letting those guys go. Now the suffix designates what outfit made the cherry.
