Has anyone here had experience with the remington spartan single shot rifles, I saw one at the local shop and thought they seemed decent.

well rem dropped the line. So dont know if it would be worth it.

I have had a chance to run several hundred rounds through mine so far and like it well enough that I intend to try purchasing more of them. They are well made and sport a hammer forged barrel. They are a best-buy item that never sold well, probably due to its unconventional styling. Neil

I was curious, doing a web search.
As you may know Remington also makes a Spartan line of double barrel-semi-auto shotguns. For the price, they are hard to beat.
