Is there home made substitute for LLA

I really like the convenience of LLA with a .44 Marlin that shoots Lyman's 429215 gc as cast. Currently, LLA is going for $4.00+ per bottle and I've got to drive 80 miles round trip to get it! I'd really like something that will use the basic Lee method of swirling in a butter tub. Geez that LLA works well with the .44...like 1" 5+ shot gps at 50 yds.

Does anyone have a home made concoction that will allow me to swirl away?

look down the page at lars's stuff you can get bigger sizes delivered right to your door.
you might have to drive to get the thinner though.
