I wrote here about adjusting parallax on non-parallax-adjustable scopes.
In the research I fiddled with several scopes. One Simmons 2-6 handgun scope looked blurry, but I see blurry a lot.
I sent the Simmons scope with a $15 check to BUSHNELL, as instructed.
Yesterday I got the scope back, all repaired, no additional charge.
In the box, a note: "Your front objective lens was in backward. Corrected issue."
Simmons/Bushnell have great patience.

What does a backwards lens have to do with adjusting parallax?

It couldn't have been me, it must be the guy that moves my wife's glasses and much of my stuff, while we're sleeping.

Nothing, I found this out while doing that research.

I have an objective lens out of a scope. The front side (side facing outside the scope) is concave. The inside surface of the lens is convex. I would think reversing this lens in a scope would change the focal plane of the reticle. If so that would affect parallax. Now if the lens were shaped the same on both sides I don't see how it would effect anything. I will say if the lens is only coated on one side that would change the amount of light entering the scope.
