I have been using Lee Alox and a dip method for a while now. I have almost used up the bottles that came with my sizer dies and was wondering if there are homemade and/or storebought options to the Lee stuff. Tried panlubing..dosnt work for me, no interested in buying a big lube/sizer, so only interested in lubes that work with the tumble or dip method

What's wrong with the ol' swirl-'em-in-a-bowl method? For small batches, I use a zip sandwich bag.

Dip, I don't know about. Tumble, use JPW.

I've heard that JPW (Johnson Paste Wax) does well but I've never tried it. I used to pan lube then I bought a Star.

+ 1 on jpw. I also tumble with 50/50 lithium axel grease / parrafin wax 50/50 with warmed-up
boolits. It can be a little messy but it works. I do it for my tl-410-175-swc's and 3 different 303 brit molds. I've pushed the 303 boolits up to 2000fps with no leading. It works for me on TL boolits as well as lube groved ones. I also pan lube with the same mixture. It's makes a little smoke when fired but I kinda like that anyway.

You could try beeswax and JPW. It dosen't take much, they need to be heated to melt the mixture. Then just swirl your boolits in the mix.
I don't know the limits on that mix, as far as velocity, you'll have to experiment. Use only a small amount of beeswax or it will flake of the boolits
