Canuck, the batch I made started life as 'onceit farred' LCNM '06. One pass through the FL 35 Whelen die and the rest is history. All I shoot is 358009 Improved (.360) in a custom cut chamber on a Shilen bbl. No problem. If anything to mention it is a tad short of spec when fire formed, but seems to make no difference. That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it. 40.0/IMR4895/1900fps. sundog

Canuck, as far as I'm concerned the pro and con is that it didn't cost me anything for brass. So, if I run out and have ample '06 brass on hand, I'll do it again. I think Shuz shot a moose with it, and some others on here have taken deer. I haven't had mine on a hunt yet. I built mine for an Elk hunt, if that should ever happen again. Otherwise my son will inherit a pretty nice rifle -- and he can go elk hunt -- he lives in Colorado anyway. sundog
