I have a Marlin model 94 in a 32-20 my wife bought me a couple months ago.serial # date estimate about 1908-1909.
Took it out and started shooting and it jams quite often . So I took it to this fella I know he took it apart and it is a hybrid has some new part new model hammer new model leaver unsure about the carrier . Searching net for some parts and found a sight about tunning Marlins & the fixing the Marlin Jam . The symtoms of the model 94 I have are exactly the same as the Marlin Jam .But my carrier is made a little different than the picture . I was wondering if anyone knows if a carrier for a model 1894 in a 357 mag will work I am kinda reluctant to heat and bend my carrier for fear of messing everything up worse .
Have any of you out there had this same kinda problem. The gun shoots realy well as a single shot, so I would like to get it working . Any help appriciated Thanks
