I pay .35 cents per pound to a scrap dealer and am glad to get them as all the tire shops don't want to sell them to me. If I were you I would buy as much of the pure lead as I could, you may be able to trade it to bp shooters for WW. If not, you already have some tin to alloy the pure lead with.
