I hope some of you have mounted scopes on K31s with the clamp on mount. I have one and have mounted it on two different k31s with the same result, it mounts the scope pointing down. With full elevation within the scope I can't get to center using a laser range finder.

There is a place foreward of the clamp that appears to bear on the receiver. I've shimmed this with up to eight layers of coke can to no effect.

Have any of you experience with shimming one of these? Do I simply need to go get a set of feeler guages and find one that works?

Is it a st. marie mount...or the Copy?

It's the Swiss Products from Kalispell, Montana. I got my answer directly from them, it should not be so, return it to them and they will take care of it.

I was going to say the same thing. If it's a St. Marie's product, they WILL stand behind it. And no, I do not have the problem you're describing.

My St Marie Graphics mount is perfect.

Have they changed their name to "Swiss Products" or is this a different
outfit?

Nah, same company, just a different way to talk about them.

Yep. Those guys are great with the Swiss rifles.

I regret selling my K31. Most accurate Milsurp I've ever possessed.

Keeping my heat on was more important though...:neutral:
