Just picked up an old Ideal 311359 4 cavity. Are there any current manufactured handles that will fir it. All the handles I have are too thick to fit in the slot.

I've run across two like that in my casting career. You have two choices: Raise the bridge or lower the water. In other words, you can either open the slot in the mould or slim down the handles. In my case, I chose thinning the handles and it worked fine. MIne was only off a small bit so a little filing cured it. I'd check the slots in the mould for burs or dings first. Someone may have dropped it at one time and it can be opened with a file./beagle

How wide is the slot that has been machined in the mould? If is approx 1/4", I do have handles that may fit.

They do. Measured at .251 across the slot. How much for a pair?
