New Lee mold dropping small

I just got this from Midway and cleaned it up and ran 2 pots worth tonight. Without measuring them I dropped one in my sizer just for the heck of it and it fell right through my .452 die. I measured them and they are dropping at .448 to .449! I cannot believe this, especially since I just wasted 2 pots worth of time. I learned a good lesson tonight, measure a new mold after dropping the first few. Now I need to call Lee I guess and see what the heck is going on. I have been waiting on this mold for a while and it ticks me off it isnt right. I know they are behind on production with all the crap going on, but this is getting sad. Anyone else got any lately not right?

I just talked to Lee and I am going to send the molds to them with a couple sample boolits. He is going to check stock and see what is going on and replace my molds. I will update as I find out.

Lee has been real good to me on stuff like that.

Sounds like quality control problems at Lee due to what I have heard is tremendous product demand. Don't worry Lee will make it right with you.

I know they will, I understand the pain right now. I have 10 other Lee six bangers and really like them. I just kick myself for not checking a little sooner than I did. I got a real good practice session with 2 pots though. Maybe I can squish them a little in the vise before sizing.[smilie=1:
