Hey Guys,

I have a LEE semi-wadcutter mold that was ordered to throw a .354 slug, as cast the boolits come out to .457+ and weigh 254 grains.

I would like to load these for my brother to try in his Marlin Guide gun for light hunting/plinking loads. This is a plain based boolit with a long bearing surface, what would you guys recommend for a starting load? I have Unique, 2400, IMR SR7625 and IMR 4227 to work with.

Thanks in advance!

I have shot 45LC bullets in my 45-70 with about 10gr of Unique and some pillow stuffing to fill the case a little bit.
