how much should I pay?

My local radiator shop guy says he has buckets of solder drippings for me but he says he doesn't know what it's worth.... What should I pay him? He also doesn't know the exact composition of the solder.. It's not in a water tank..just in buckets and he says there is some dirt in it.

Well, The radiator guy just gave me some free stuff to try out. It's a 5 pound chunk of solidified dirty looking crap. He say's if it works out, he'll sell me buckets full for $10.
Does that sound right? Anyone know the composition of radiator solder?

One of my local radiator guys is also a gun dealer. He says his stuff averages around 40% tin. He get's $25 to $40 a bucket. He also watches the metals market.
