Went to the local gun show with the FFL 03/SOT I've been working with lately. Got a break in the action and took the time to walk around a bit. Made it to the last table scot free and then I spied this little guy tucked underneath a pile of tacti-blasters priced a twice what they're worth.

The timing is excellent and she locks up solid. SA trigget is good, DA is excellent. Some holster wear on the bluing.
$200 out the door. Even threw in a set of wood stocks and 50rds of sketchy ammo that I dissassembled.... saved the lead and primed cases, burned the powder.
I think I found me a new trout fishing gun.

$200 OTD for a Mod15?!?!?!?! You did very well. Tight and clean! It will shoot good for you.

I would use SWC's in it. They don't tear up the trout as bad.

Don't use RN boolits they deflect in the water and you will not shoot your limit!
Seriously, you done good Dan!

You'd be best off using cast hollowpoints with heavy loads. Trout are well known for charging when they're wounded.

That's not holster wear, that's character.

Hi Dan!
I congratulate you! We all like finds like that... Reminds me of when I went to the gun show last year. At the last table I spotted a S&W Second Model Hand Ejector in about 97% condition in original .455 Webley trim.
The price tag was of the fire sale variety, no paperwork, and I couldn't pay the guy quick enough! I ran out the door with it as fast as I could.
The "Smith & Webley" performs as good as it looks... No regrets on that purchase.
Enjoy yours!
Happy Shootin'! -Tom
