Wandering through the last large Gunshow I spied a NIB Ideal 429421 two cavity mould on a dealers table. I already had a two cavity and a four cavity Lyman in this style so I walked on. The price was right and I couldn't get that mould very far from my mind the rest of the day. I finally convinced myself that I should re-consider that old new mould as I had heard that the Ideals cast slightly larger than the newer Lyman moulds. As luck would have it, the mould was still there and I picked it up as any good caster would of done the first time. I size to 431" - .432" for this cal. and have been having a hard time getting a as cast boolit to drop from the mould large enough to suit me. Not with this Ideal mould, it drops consistanly at .434". I'm a happy caster and at a less than current Lyman price of $45 I think I got a bargin. That is the reason we go to gunshows right?
