i just walked away with a ohaus 700 series triple beam balance scale, a ohaus Harvard trip balance 5lb, a large 7qt cast iron pot, a 12qt steel pot, a .5qt ladle, and a smaller ladle, all for $25!

they probably thought i was some kind of tweaker making meth, especialy since i pain in $5's and $1's. lol

Dude you did great!!! Maybey they were retired tweakers, you know getting out of the business. I picked up a set of Brand new RCBS dies for my 8mm Mauser. I also got a trim die with it for $5 for both boxes. Some people just dont know what they have at those places

I went to a couple of auction and the herters scales went for 75 and 80 dollars,reloaders didnt buy them either.

Yard sale season is fast approaching my area. As soon as the mud dries a bit they'll start. I'm looking forward to stopping at a few soon.

talk nice to your local police departments. Occasionally they have a sale of drug confiscations.
I got a monster Ainsworth scale for a hundred bucks several years back. By the way, possession of one is grounds for a search warrant if the owner has a shady background.
