Saw this (http://cgi.ebay.com/LYMAN-IDEAL-452505-HARVEY-PROTO-X-ZINC-WASHERS_W0QQitemZ250393911644QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH _DefaultDomain_0?hash=item250393911644&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A1|39%3A1|240%3A1318) on EvilBay for a Harvey mold. Why wouldn't a zinc washer from the local hardware store work? Am I missing something?

These washers are "Solid" zinc. The washers from your local hardware store are made from steel and "Zinc" plated to protect them from rusting. There is a big difference.

Someone still sells the zinc washers...maybe Corbin. Sportflite use to be a distributor but I'm not sure if they're still in business./beagle
