Fell into 800 LR CCI 250 mag primers.
Now what can I do with them?
Can I use these in my normal , less than max, loads if I cut my powder back some or is this a bad idea?
I've loaded many K of rounds in the past but never used a mag primer.

My LR loads would be :
30 06
308
32 sp
30 30
220 swift
35 rem
Don't see it in 30 30 ,32, or 35, but listed them anyway cause they will fit.

What do you guys think?
Can it be done or am I just wishfully thinking?
Thanks.

I use mag primers in LR loads and vice versa. I cut back 2 grains. I dont know how safe people think it is but aI havent had any problem. Smallest I have used them in is a 7mm-08

Drop your charge alittle, most say about 10% and work back up. Doubt you'll have any problem with them at all. Have fun.

I use them in everything and like said cut about 2 gr. I use them in Pistol and seems to get a little cleaner burn. They really help 2400 powder in the 06 lead loads
