Experiment- which load will win?

M1891/59 Mosin. Lyman 314299. Loads:
9 gr of Trail Boss
22 gr of XMR 5744
18 gr of SR 4759 surplus

I've tried all these before and they were safe and all did well; but which will win? [smilie=1:

They will perform differently in different rifles. Just like any combination in different rifles.

Barrel condition, chamber size, throat size, wear, ect...
Is yours Izhevsk or Tula? There are rifles from both in every condition imaginable.
My sons is an Izhevsk with a counter bored muzzle. Can't recall seeing any that weren't.

Regarding my 91/59, it is a hex receiver Tula with excellant bore and no, it isn't counterbored. That's interesting. While most M38s I've seen ARE counterbored, I've not personally seen a 91/59 that has been counterbored.
