View Full Version : Bullet drying tray

Don't know if this one's been around yet, but idle moments sometimes produce useful things.
Messing around with aloxing the bullets is pretty annoying to me, so this tray evolved in an effort to not have fingers that smelled like enhanced crayons.
It's a piece of melamine component panel with raised edges and a "pouring spout" formed by shorting one of the edges.
Mel panel is easily available at a big box home center as shelving. This piece is a simple two-footer of the common 16" deep size.
A few pieces of 1x2 and some screws does it. I spent nearly ten minutes slapping this together.
I've been using the mel panel as is for drying bullets for a while and can't see a downside.
The edges just mean less manipulating and spilling.
There's 500 .45s in the picture, so capacity is sufficient for most of us and the weight's manageable.
