I forgot to ask if the bullet needs gas checks, I have the double cavity.

No gas checks needed. That is a bevel base if the drawing is accurate.

Don't buy it there. You can find it for much less at any of the online retailers. If they don't have it in stock, Lyman probably won't either.

I already have it, only paid $38 for it on ebay brand new
