I have several Savage 110 rifles
So while at the club tonight I see a guy posting a sale add for 3 Savage barrels
22/250 , 7/08 and 308
Going to look at the barrels Monday evening
But my question is
Will I run into feeding problems if I don't install a mag block to shorten the mag length ?

I took a 110 30-06 and rebarreled to a 308, feeds fine.

you shouldnt have problems with it if you dont let shells get miss alined. simi autos will give problems most of the time unless you put a block in to keep them from moving

At one time Savage only made one length action for all calibers and put a block in the mag and something to shorten the stroke of the bolt.
I have been told a block in the front is better but I have them in the back on my rifles.

Question is mute
As I Passed on the barrels
It looks like the guy never cleaned or oiled the barrels
Rust on the outside and posible pitting inside the 308 barrel
