I tried my Lee hardness tester to day. I cast some 30cal bullets last week and wanted to find out just how hard they were. The instruction for the Lee tester say to file a flat spot on one of the bullets. I kept a spuse from the batch and used it to test the hardness. I was thinking that maybe the spuse hardness maybe different from the bullets, so I also tested one of the bullets. They were the same.
I wrote the hardness number on the spuse and out it in the box with the bullets to keep track. :)
