I have the lyman 200 GR. .314 314299 mold for my No.4 Enfield and I have 8lbs. of IMR 4064 but I can not find a recipe to combine the two. Anyone got a tried and true load?

Thanks,

Enfield, check out Accurate 4064 load data. It has just about the same burn rate, and they list cast loads. A chrono would help a lot.

I have used a good bit of IMR 4064 in the #4 with a Lee 180 and a 311284. I used from 24 grs to 30 grs of 4064 and a half grain tuft of dacron depending on what the rifle likes. I seem to have better luck with IMR 4198 but if I had 4064 that's what I would use. Finding a boolit to fit is more problem than the powder. I do keep IMR 4064 around, it's one of the most flexable powders you can have for milsurp size rounds.
