I bought a grab bag of reloading tools the other day and the attached unit was included. Does anyone have an idea what it is? It seems to slip over a cylinder and clamps with a screw then the handle rotates an offset circular cam. I can't figure this one out.

Hope you can see the attached pic.

The word escapes my tortured mind...

It expells a bullet from a swaging die.. Like the RCBS half jacket swaging setup uses something like this. The cam is a form of increasing ratio lever.

If you peruse the Corbin swaging website you might see something like this.

It is a de-bulleter. When you ram the cup and core up into the swage die, you use this guy to push it back out.

That makes sense, looking at how it functions. I went thru the entire Midway big catalog and couldn't find anything that looked like this. So I turned to the experts for help. Thanks.

Since I don't swage, I suppose I will list it for sale or trade. I don't suppose this is something commonly sought after by the casual swager  - any idea or ballpark what I should ask for this jem ??

Thanks Again.

I really don't know what it's worth, but I would give you $10 plus shipping...

Looks just like the C-H Bullet Ejector I found that was listed recently in the swap section.

Tell ya what, I'm looking for a set of 308 Small Base dies I'll trade this for a set or $25 shipped CONUS (sorry if this offer should go in the sale swap area)

Thanks to all for helping me ID this thing. In the process I found a great site with lots of pictures of old loading gear at http://www.antiquereloadingtools.org
and I read a lot about the swaging process.
