What would be the easiest and cheapest way to bring pure lead up to a good hardness for .357's around 900-1000 FPS/ 158 SWC

W/W 50/50 will work fine that's all you need.

50/50 and I shoot plenty of 67/33 with some tin in larger bores too with complete satisfaction.
