I am thinking of ordering a Heavy over sized 8 MM mold .
I see Mid South lists 2
8MM MAXIMUM 225 gr and 8MM KARABINER 215 gr molds .

Both apear to be .327 di.

Is one better than the other ?

I will be shooting it out of several Milatary Mausers 2 - 8 x 57 and a 8-06 that is sporterized and has a scope

The C326-175 RF group buy bullet has changed my normal Turk shooter from a 3 -5"+ rifle to 1.5" - 2" groups , a few close to 1" at 100 yds .
So I am thinking about trying a heaver bullet .
Only single holer , but for me ,I can live with it .
Especaly for the price .

I have both. The Max in WW comes in at just over 250gn and the carb at just over 230 as cast w/o check. As I recal about .327/.328" on the bands for both but on mine the max has a larger nose diameter by .001". Cant remember for shure but I think they are like .321 and .322" on the noses. Anyway they are on the fat side.

I just got the Lee 215 Karabiner, with WW and gascheck it weighs 240gr,looks like a good bullet .
I am hoping this will be perfect for a hunting bullet out of my TC Encore 8MM GNR Magnum, this is a Encore pistol round based on the 405 Win necked down to 8MM.

...............Both boolits designed by Oldfeller. Shoot one of those off at 2200 fps from the bench! Be sure to pre-check your action and scope screws.
