Would there be any problems using LR primers instead of LP primers in my 41 mag? It is the old ruger blackhawk. Thanx Grant:castmine:

Check for primer protrusion.

Revolvers are a different animal, though. Still, check for protrusion. You could always use a primer pocket reamer and ream a little bit deeper, but then returning to regular primers with that brass might be an issue.

Not a good idea, however after the discussion of a week ago use whatever you feel safe with. But there must be a reason manufactures make two types, one for pistols and one for rifles. Maybe its just marketing but I doubt it.
