There is going to be a new Harbour freight opening up in Dothan soon..... Now I should be able to get some cast iron pots and such at a reasonable cost...and not have to pay shipping!

You'll find they have some interesting stuff.

Such things as walnut shell in both 24 and 50 girt for you tumbler( sell it as sand blasting media) They also have viberating tumblers but not sure how competative the price is.

Rock tumblers as well along with several type of LP "camp stove's" for making a smelting system.

Dial indicaters for like 4 bucks that kind of stuff!

Last week I bought a leather welding apron I can use when casting for $7.75 at my local Harbor Frieght.

It's no wonder the Chinese have all the money now. When you see the products they handle and their price you'll understand the problems the U.S. has with the trade deficit. If they ever add a tad bit more quality into the products they sell we're in more economic trouble than we are now....

That is bad news I never have any money because of them, shop is overloaded ect. Get you a mini-chop saw it is great to trim brass with when converting for the old rifles I have.

I recall reading somewhere that one company had a device where I can use a small drill press to trim my brass. As I HATE to trim brass, I figured that I'd get set up for that venture... Anybody recall who it is that has the set-up?

Lyman also has a quick release set up for brass trimming that is mounted on a drill press.

Didn't think they were still selling it but then saw an advertisment at Cabella's or Mid south I'm not sure which.

Uh oh, I can't think of anything more wallet-draining than visiting the Local HF--unless it is visiting a local gun show or something. Beware! One of these can vacuum your wallet dry faster than a shop vac. Been there, do that!

Hello the camp. Not to step on your HF walnut story too much, but I've been using lizard litter from PetSmart for several moons now--price at least as good as HF, but I think better. It is the #1 ticket for cleaning black powder brass after rinsing.
