I came a crossed a lb of Scot 453, and from what I can find out, it is close to 700X, does anyone have any load data for this powder, I am wanting to use it in my wifes 380 auto with a 100gr jacketed bullet. I have been loading using Accurate #2, and I realy like how clean it burns! In my experence the ball powders all seem to burn cleaner, I also have 6lbs of other Obsolete Winchester ball powder, that I would like to use up, without looking, I am thinking 540, 768 ?, anyway, does anyone have any old hand load data for the old ball powders?
I would be very great full, for any and all help!
Thanks
Greg

Not much help here. About all I've ever used in the .380 is Unique and Red Dot.

The 700X I use is in my .45 ACP 25-2, but it's one of my most dependable loads for accuracy there.

Good luck on your quest.:-D

Thanks for trying, I feel that away about Ac#2, when we bought that Keltec 380 for the wife we went out to the range and she shot 5" group, I loaded and shot a 12" group, this was with some super cheap ammo, I had bought some new brass and some serria bullets and loaded 3.4gr of #2, went to the range and shot 2 and 3" groups! I have also shot a lot of 700x and 800x. Maybe I can find some data, would like to use that pound up, as high as powder is.
Thanks Greg
