I used Re-7 for years with a 60 gr. Hornady in an XP100. Shot some groups at 200 that I never told anyone about. No one would beleive it!

4198 gave me the best accuracy in my Contender, hands down.

Good powders in the Fireball with 40-50 grain bullets include 2400, SR4759, N110, 4227 (either) and W296/H110 at the fast end. In the middle would be 4198 (either), RL-7, AA1680, LilGun, N120, and N130. At the slow end would be H322, Benchmark, RL-10X, and N133.

Any of those might end up being "best" in your gun with your choice of other components.

Lots of people swear by LilGun, RL-7, 4198 and AA1680. I'd start with those.
