Lee .31 caliber bullet

Was wondering if anyone had ever used the lee 31 caliber 180 grain gas checked bullet in 30 caliber lever actions?. Seems to me that with the oversized dimensions of the micro groove barrels would be easier using this bullet rather than purchasing a bunch of molds in the hopes of getting one that will work. Frank

I am experimenting with .311" - .312" Lee & Ranch Dog bullets in .30-30 . Is this what you are asking about ?
